Cristián Gonzalez Saiz is a Graphic designer and typographer. He studied Graphic Design at Universidad Finis Terræ, where he currently teaches. After graduation, he studied a typography at Universidad Católica de Chile.
During his university period, he was linked to Diseñadores Asociados, a prestigious design office. In 2001 he worked as Art Director at Perro Bravo agency. During 2003 and 2004, he became part of Ce Diseña, as Director of Art.
In October of 2005, he and Paulina Morales founded Brandi, a Comunicational Strategy and Design office. There, he currently leads the development of the creative area. In Brandi, he has developed various projects as: the design of a new brand for CCNI and Andres Wood’ s film producer. Also, he designed the CD for Mario Rojas & The Flaitin Project, the Coprófago band and the Escuela Moderna de Música.
As independent projects, in 2005 he designed and edited, with Daniel Berczeller the book “Proyecto Demo�?, and he participated in the creation of "DÃaz de Espera", in 2003, and in august of 2006, he formed PICLE, place in wich he develops his typographic and academic projects. Regarding his fonts, he designed "Origen", "El Chino", "Tosca" and "Rótula.
