Otl Aicher used that font-weight idea years ago for ERCO's logo. Although I hadn't seen it until someone pointed out the similarity, I thought I'd give him the respect he deserves.

I really like this, stunning pallete of colours and the variance in weight of the font. I love the alignment of 'records' with 'end' and the 'o' representing the vinal record, really nice logo :)
