ReplyStyle of the mark and style of the letters seems to fight with each other... And I'm tired of this typography, maybe of all that Johnny Depp everywhere! :)
ReplyI agree with type08. The mark has clean, smooth lines while the text is very serif-y, traditional pirate-y.
ReplyThe Old English/pirate style of font is overkill. The skull is enough of a giveaway. Keep the type simple.
ReplyI agree about the type, i think the one you had before was more suited for the style of the mark. and i love the skull illustration, but the height bothers me a bit, it feels too tall and narrow.
