Description: The Catholic Muse is an inspirational blog focusing on the author's pilgrimages. This concept takes the form of a scalloped pilgrim's shell which is a common souvenir at many holy sites. According to tradition, the lines converging on the shell represent the various paths of the pilgrims meeting at the holy site. The shell also symbolizes God's hand guiding the pilgrims to their destination as the oceans waves wash the shells ashore. The silhouette of a woman's face reflects the author and muse. Muse also takes on a double meaning as the blog is a collection of the musings of the author on life, faith, and travel as well as a source of inspiration like the classic Greek Muse. Custom text from scratch completes the personal feel of a journal.
