ReplyI like this and the text works nicely, but I think the black strokes are just a little too drastic in certain areas.
ReplyI really like this. Do the various textures and colors in the background each have a meaning?**The type seems a bit light compared to the stroke weight of the graphic, or perhaps as kult house mentioned the strokes are too heavy for the type. Other than that, I think it's great.

ReplyThe idea behind the textures was to represent culture, world music art, landscape. It may be a stretch and abstract but I tried to sum up the whole thing, because there is so much to do there. I wanted the colors to look weathered, not too bright.
ReplyI agree with kult house about the black strokes being too heavy, especially for a %22festival%22. It makes the logo feel a bit foreboding.
