Description: GiGL Playsets was a naming/identity concept for Backyard Discovery, the leading childrens' play set manufacturer in the US. The goal was to create a logo with the core brand personality traits (fun, fresh, relevant & clever) integrated within the logotype. After thorough trademark and domain research this identity concept was ready for deployment. However, the client was not ready/willing to take such a radically unusual approach and preferred a more traditional solution. The final identity turned out alright, but nowhere near as exciting as GiGL. I guess that's the just the reality of the trade...
