Why the golden spiral when none of the design relates to it?
Do you really know how the golden ratio works?
Well, the Fibonacci spiral you have here grows by a factor of the golden ration for every quarter turn. However, that was not my question. The question was: why the golden spiral when the design doesn't seem to relate to it (other than the final Fibonacci tile)? So if, as you say, I don't understand the golden ration, more specifically the golden spiral here as a factor of the golden ration, please enlighten me.
Or not. I'm good.
I understand your doubt, a example: The Parthenon also does not have the spiral ... The spiral is only to indicate proportions
I get what you are saying @neostudio, but to @logoboom s point, its not really showing the golden ration or the proportions, here is seems more indicating focal point, thus the confusion. There is a focal point to the spiral but its not being properly illustrated here.
