Description: What began as a play on words became a concept for my 'personal rebrand' which will be a long process. Really just looking for thoughts on the mark itself. I was going for stoic yet quirky and artistic, and memorable. Too weird? Creepy? Cool? Unique?

Very nice! But that coloured tie distract attention from arrow head wich is the clue of the logo I suppose. And I think you should try use the frame with straight edges without those brush effect. Anyway goes to my favourites :)

I really like this guy. I agree with pixel crook, the tie takes prominence. Maybe try coloring the arrowhead highlight area the same as the arrow text and then tone the tie down.

Thanks for the input guys! And thanks for the gallerization! It's one of those weird ones that has been bouncing around in my mind for a while. I will play with the tie/head colors and see what happens.

While I probably won't use this one as my personal mark (as Arrowhead was only one of several ideas for a possible name and restructure of my services) I suppose it is in the running. So let me ask you this: would you be comfortable approaching a designer with a sort of abstract concept like this representing them / their firm?

All comments welcome. :)

Well, I know logo should show essence of you and your skills, but I think your portfolio will tell your clients more about you. I think you should do the logo you'll like and be bounded with it. If you're good, clients will come even when your logo would be your name written in times new roman, unless you'll put some skulls, bloody daggers or dead animals in your logo, then they will not come ;) Now logos getting back to simplicity, but if you break out with logo like this I think you might be more recognizable in the industry. Summary: For me the logo is awesome and wouldn't hesitate to come for your services.

Thanks for your input, @pixel crook! I appreciate the time and thought you put into the response. I'll definitely consider this one, and also some perhaps more dynamic colors, and throw this into the mix of ideas that I'll use for my rebrand. I'm definitely happy to see it getting some love in the gallery. :)

Thanks Sam, I appreciate it. I actually had thoughts on this, but every version of a short Arrowhead .com domain was taken, and without the name I guess the concept doesn't make much sense.
