Carli Krueger

Born in Glendale, Arizona, Carli has a love for warm weather and the unconventional beauty found in the desert landscapes as well the cold, cultured towns she has explored in the Northwest.

Carli was the Design Editor for the Montana Kaimin for two years while she attended the University of Montana. After graduating in May of 2013, she became a Design Trainee on the Community Desk at the Orange County Register. She now lives in Irvine and freelances in her free time.

In addition to her weekly published designs in the Montana Kaimin, Carli was the Art Director for the Montana Journalism Review, a 60-page magazine published in April of 2012, and a designer for the University of Montana’s widely recognized Native News project. Both project are SPJ award winning publications. She has had a few written pieces published in the Kaimin and published a political piece out of Maricopa County for PatchworkNation.org after the 2012 Presidential Election.

Carli has a day and night love affair with font and believes it is the center to any well-designed piece. She also enjoys baking, ’80s movies, creative writing and watching hockey.
