Great details. But it seems that oval shape is killing it...

@vld Thanks. Yes, it have too much details, but that was my goal for this project and the client is really satisfied. I just wanted to do something massive. :D
Unfortunately logopond images are in a small res. so it is hard to see every detail.

@Camo, toyed with the idea of making huge images but landslide voted no because theres a lot of theft in the logo industry, dont want to hand someone on a platter a full high res image.

You can do what you have done though by using the variations to show a close up.

I like the size limit also because it shows the logo in a more realistic use size which is different than a huge illustration. This level of detail is awesome because it doesn't loose a lot of the overall structure when reduced. Sometimes too much detail turns to mush when reduced. Many branding agencies might approach this type of problem by making variations with different levels of detail for different size applications.

Great illustration but @vld was referring to the awkward shape of the oval, not the details.

And that busy BG doesn't really compliment either. But absolute kudos on the gladiator icon! Perfectly executed.

First of all, this is a GORGEOUS design. However, I don't mean to say anything negative here, but I always tell my designers if they see anything abnormal our unusual about a design to say something. So with that said, I think the placement of the chain is a bit awkward. I know my mind is in the gutter, but if I see it, there might be another person out there who does too.
