A few years later after designing the original, New World Punx wanted a refreshed rougher version of the logo for event marketing. Here it is! See the previous version in "As seen on:" below.
From the previous logo: Markus Schulz and Ferry Corsten are both superstar DJs in their own right, each appearing in the influential DJ Magazine’s annual Top 100 DJs list in the top 10. When the duo embarked upon a collaborative project, New World Punx, derived from titles of two of their individual tracks, The New World and Punk, a new brand had to be created in time for their sold out debut at Madison Square Garden. Combining a futuristic aesthetic with a counter cultural edge resulted in the New World Punx logo, created in such a way that it can be used encased or open for greater versatility whilst being used on everything from tour buses to jumbotron displays during concerts.
