As a reader of this design blog, I've always appreciated it when David shares his sketchpad with us and shows projects that are in development.

nido said:my sketchpads are crazy!!!... if i open a new pad with a clean page my mind goes blank.. ill have to scribble on that page (anything really!.. superheroes, cartoon characters, limbs etc..) just so that its no longer a clean page & sometimes I'll leave it at that & then come back later.. its like a 'warm up'... more often then not i prefer to be talking to someone on the phone so that my minds not focused & then come away with a ''wow! how did i do that?!?!'' kinda thing. When i worked as a customer service adviser i hated it but the sketches i came away with while dealing with a complaint were brilliant! i also like to draw on scrap paper that is a bit old & battered & worn out.. for some reason that so helps, that there is already something there even if its not at all related.
