Description: Advise welcome. Client is looking for a "metallic" or "chrome" finished serif font which will be placed on a white background for his recreational supply shop.

I know it's a client request, but I feel that the metallic effect completely goes against the name of the company. It's a modern technique to a rustic name - VERY counter-intuitive. I'm sure your client has their reasons for it, but I'm not sure what else you could do to the logo to fix it.
