the icon is incredible, the type needs a bit of something. I think if you made the year sanserif and smaller, it would look nicer.

Thanks ClimaxDesigns, this isnt the final logo, after so many revisions, demands, and head-butting, I came out with over a dozen protos before the dust finally settled. The final work can be found here... http://www.flickr.com/photos/gmax/310955524/in/set-72057594089301876/ But the one I posted here is closer to the original that I would have preferred. :)
