Description: This radio station was trying to shake off their old image.

Their audience was 24-65 and that made creating a logo which would appeal and be recognisable quite hard... I used a darker red that would stand out without being overbearing. The management at the station had the slogan as a single line and wanted \'my\' to stand out.
The print ad ideas came from a series that the BBC used with their Balloon series (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBC_One_Balloon_idents) which worked well.

The Phil Collins image was used with a number of different artists and uses a variation of the logo as a \'flag\'.

Overall, not bad, but the "my" seems to get lost next to the red, not stand out.

Agreed... looks fine when you (as in the beach photo) use the yello with the rest being white. The management were very specific, 3 colours, a deep, yet bright red, a complimenting yellow and white.. it's a terrible combination, but they work well together (the colours). I tried a black box behind in one concept, but was asked not to use it..
