New logo for a historic mansion and gardens in Des Moines, IA. The mansion was built in the 1920s and is now open for tours.

Dig that mark except for the heavy black. Could have used something in there or simply change it to sky blue to lighten it up. And that ampersand seems to ornate compared to the simple style of the mark.
ReplyThanks Logoboom! That is how the front door of the place looks. I would have preferred a lighter color as well but this represents the actual door. Its a really neat place...it was built in an art deco style but it has a lot of ornate details modeled after 16th century English castles.
Replywell then...it makes sense if this is the actual door.
