Description:
Had a cool and unexpected meeting today with a senior designer who works at EXIT festival. They wanna hire me, but as a full time job. Now, this is an awesome offer. I`m going on that festival for the last 10 years constantly and this would be really an honor working with guys over there. They`re producing some amazing design. But, full time kinda bothers me cuz i`d have to almost completely leave my freelance work and most likely personal projects. I`m still not sure will i accept that or not.. However, it def made my day. :)

Replycongratulations :)
ReplyHow is their medical, dental, 401K plan?
Replyhope you will make a good decision, but looks like it's not easy to make one here.. but you will be good in one way or another! and I like this one also, especially this little one bird. take care Wizey!
ReplyEXIT, awesome stuff! Congrats on the offer! :)*%5EIf it were me, and those guys were hanging out on 'this' side of the border, I'd have give it some serious thought...**Well, if you do end up taking the job %3E and you ever need a freelancer...you know who to call! %3B)**Nice mark %3C BTW
ReplyThanks a lot, all!*Jerron, 401K plan is a dream over here, so that%60s not a minus of the mentioned agency.. it%60s on a country level, laws and such. Something that i can%60t wait, impact or change. Other stuff that you mentioned are an option, of course. But wonder is it all about that only.. Thanks tho! All good points.**
ReplyWe%60ve commented at the same time, Michael.. Thanks, man.. :)) I%60ll keep that in mind def.. %3B)

ReplyAgree with Alen!!! :)%0D*Congrats mate and good luck!!
ReplyAnd cool mark!! :D
ReplyPerhaps you should give your mom a call, she will tell you to take the job and do freelance on the side. Opportunity is knocking.
Reply%5E I agree. maybe just do 52 logos 1 a week %3B) and have the security of a secure income.
ReplyAlan, thanks! :)*Jerron, lol got the point.*Mike, easiest part would be to leave that project completely. There%60s a lot more involved. Would you take such a offer now when you%60re doing great on your own? Would you be willing to do 8, often more hrs daily there (mostly print work btw) and spend small amount of what is supposed to be your free time after that on catching your freelance work? Just curious.. %3B)
ReplyWell, if your doing fine then what's the question? Just offerring advice. Are you OK financially and continued business? These are the question you have to answer for yourself. By the way i work for UPS part time for benefits for my 4 kids and I have done this for 15 years and established prior to the dot com boom.I was ranked on top of google and had too many clients to deal with, now? not so many,.. just saying.. don't pass up a good opportunity.best wishes wahtever you decide.
Reply@mike - secure income? these days? :)
Replyanother nice mark, and congrats on the offer.
Replyahh life always throws up these dilemmas. Kevin is right.. always go with your heart %3B )
