I like the illustration in it. I think another good thing would be to see how it looks with Recording off to teh right, next to the plug if it would ever need to be horizontal rather than stacked.

the original logo was without the recording part but the client wanted to add the part. The horizontal look with recording to the right works well on the company's paper.
