Description: Personal logo study, perhaps for my business cards. The \"M\" stands for Muymra. I tried to make it look like a blackletter typeface while maintaining the trident shape. New version here http://logopond.com/gallery/detail/9021

Nice mark but loose the effects and it will be spot on!

yeah. the effects wont print... that is if you're serious about using it as a logo. Make it 2d.

Yeah, this one's just for showing off to my friends hehe. I'll play around some more with the mark but I'll try to keep it simple. I'm planning to use several background colors for the cards, dark grey then a few bright ones to give to the more cheerful people.

Excellent mark. Oh, it will print and it will look nice printed but its gonna be costly. But I agree, lose the effects. Its not going to lower the impact one bit. This could become a very verstile logo. Well done Muymra!

Very nice! I might be a little worried that some people would make an association with the well-known maserati logo (upside down, but still a trident). http://amazi.kepeslap.com/images/6935/logo.jpg that's the first thing I thought when I saw it, but I'm a car geek.

Thanks. I'm gonna have the printers do some test prints with and without the effects. My previous works have usually made heavy use of effects and I think I should convey that in my business cards, I'm not worried about how much it will cost to make it come out well :) I wasn't aware Maserati had a trident for their logo, European cars are extremely rare where I come from. I don't think I should be worried though, no similarity other than both being a three pronged fork lol. I'm thinking about adding little horn-like protrusions on both top corners of the "M", I'll play around it some more before I finalize the logo. Thank you for the feedback.
