Description: This was created for a retail outlet specialising in imported umbrellas and rain gear. The mark obviously representing their main product as well as looking like raindrops. The negative space incorporates the \'M\'.

Thx kult and nido. This is one of my favourites purely because I had so much fun doing it. Lets hope they let me do their stationery and print ads! Cheers.

I'm not too keen on the way the shapes connect at the top but overall I really like this one. Good stuff.

Not sure about the colors. I'd be interested to find out the meaning behind those, but the mark and type are beautiful.

Thx everyone for your comments and praises. I'll explain a little bit more about this logo. anti: yeah, I wasn't too happy to see how it turned out on a low res jpeg. In its vector form magnified, its absolutely perfect as with the hi-res bitmaps. I guess its just an optical illusion, I'm not sure. ryan: yeah buddy, there is a slight meaning behind the colour choice mostly because the client wanted to incorporate these colours (plus yellow & red) somewhere in the logo. At the end I had to convince him that it would be much too busy. The blue is for water which the guy is absolutely superstitious about. He wants to show his Portuguese roots thus the green and he's also proud to be a 2nd generation Aussie bloke so I chose a 'dark yellow' so together with the green, it looked Aussie. Stretching it abit I know, but he bought it.

Great Idea! Nice Concept! Also like the typeface used, works with the icon!!! They only thing I would change would be the colour of one of the blue drops!!! Change it to a lighter blue or a different colour!!! Very Nice Though!!!

Thx Kev and liam. Agree with you guys about the final colour choice but unfortunately...they weren't mine. This guy wanted to incorporate so many colours he might as well be selling rainbows! It was my job in the end to make it less tacky. Cheers.
