Description: This pro-bono effort was for an event of baristas, bakeries and bistros raising funds for local AIDS organizations. The logo appears in the books Restaurant Graphics 2, Typography and Blue is Hot,Red is Cool: Choosing the Right Color for Your Logo.

As mentioned in the article at the link above, the Coffee Cares logo was inspired by the Glo's Broiler identity. Glo - a former roommate of mine, the mother of one of my best friends, and a huge supporter of AIDS related causes in the Seattle area - gave her blessing to the logo for this AIDS fundraising event.
