Thanks Tass.
@Scorpy: You miss the cute hamster! Lol, jk. Too bad I don't speak Russian. Anyway, I created this logo from scratch about 4 months ago and I didn't copy anyone else's idea. So I guess this must be one of those coincidences. ;)

Lose the shadow, or whatever you have goin on under the pet "globe". Just my 2 cents. :)

milou said on Nov. 28 '09

very fun, good job

wizmaya said on Nov. 28 '09

@Lecart: I couldn't agree with you more. But this one was the one approved by the client. I'll see if I can replace it with the 'cleaner' version later. Cheers for the input.
@Milou: thanks mate!

Funny yet elegant... It's strange to see an 'adult' society engage a logo like this. Might be interesting.

Very attractive but I can't help feel like it's missing the colour green for some reason (maybe it's just me) but like if the snake was a bright, delicious green. I like that the cat's tail breaks free from the globe a bit. This logo, is undeniably cute, which fits for pets, and also fits it's name well.

wizmaya said on Dec. 02 '09

Thanks for a very thoughtful comments, Tulrich. You might be right, green can make a different 'feel' of the logo. I think I have tried creating one version with a tint of green but this version was the one that the client chose in the end. Great input nevertheless.

Scorpy-Design-Studio said on Dec. 02 '09

Hey! No. It do not agree. Here not coincidence, and graphic repetitions of my work. You have altered it under more animated drawing, especially an input of a foot of a dog in a body of fish. I have all documents for this work. Has created it before you. Scorpy-design.ru

fogra said on Dec. 02 '09

@Scorpy: If this is the one you mean, then they are quite different:

theartistt said on Dec. 02 '09

I admit the layout is very similar, but the execution is quite different. Scorpy's is tribal whereas Wizmaya's is cartoon like. Wiz you may be in trouble, but I would like to think these two logos can coexist even so.

ClimaxDesigns said on Dec. 02 '09

Well I've read all the comments and looked at the links and I think that in all fairness these can stand along, but I can see how one can compare them and assert that it was overly inspired, so I'm not asking you delete the logo from your showcase but am removing it from the gallery.

wizmaya said on Dec. 02 '09

Ouch, that hurts. I respect the decision though, because I truly respect LogoPond's community. This 'overly-inspired' thing is a new one for me, and to tell you guys the truth, this is the first time this kind of thing happened to me.

To Scorpy, I just want to let you know in all honesty that I didn't copy your logo and didn't even know that particular logo of yours even exist. I also worked hard to come up with this concept, and I also have my own full-range design process. As fellow graphic designers, I hope you understand why I'm standing on my ground on this one. My logo being removed from LP's gallery is one thing I can live with, but 'branding' me as one of those copycats out there is a totally different thing.

All in all, thanks for all the positive comments, support and floats guys. I'm still new to LogoPond and it's been a pretty interesting one so far. I'm looking forward to contributing more quality logos here and shareing the creativity in this great community.

Best,
= Louie =
