Description: The Hawaiian Historical Print Society logo was completed for an artist that reproduces rare Hawaiian prints from the Captain Cook era. New etchings are produced in limited quantities. The logo design was influenced by studying the artwork. Several elements from different paintings were combined to create the final results. Hand-drawn concepts were scanned into Adobe Illustrator and used as a template. Final color choice was found in the reproduced artwork. Awards: 2007-Logo will be seen in "The Big Book of Logos #5", Logo received Bronze award from www.portfolios.com 4th annual award show.
