I'm not a fan of the type, as it doesn't seem like you spent much time on it, and Verdana is primarily a font designed for the screen and not for print.

What about making the mouse button lines a little more part of the character head. Meaning, make that vertical line into a "soul patch" type shape and the horizontal into a devilish grin. May not look good in execution but worth a try.

My only concern is I feel it needs a little more depth. I'm curious as to how would it look with the wire/tail going behind the mouse in a perked up state; and the arrow laying next to the bottom left hand side of the mouse. A little difficult to describe in words.
