Description: Basically, Atom is an XML-based syndication format that is used for web feeds. RSS is more widely used/recognized, but I find that Atom provides more versatility within the feeds. Parsing is basically breaking up the structure and turning it into something useful/legible. The mark is inspired by transmission towers, the letter A and a new interpretation of a typical web-feed icon.
