I like it. Very clean and crisp.

I really love the simplicity of just a slightly modified font. (Reminds me of Microsoft... in a good way.) The only thing I don't like is that the tracking is much too tight, which greatly reduces the readability. You need to let the letters breathe a little.

artsyambie6 said on Mar. 02 '07

i agree with ryan... at the very least let some of the letters breathe. for example get the e's some more room since they arent very heave letters and they are the only ones that are lowercased. make 'em special!

slavingia said on Mar. 03 '07

Amazing, but I'd have to agree with the others in the lack of breathing space.

nice

Thanks for all comments which really help me. I'm going to add some breathing space between the letters and update with a new one.

I like it as it is... very beautiful typographic logo.

arneak said on Mar. 08 '07

please can you tell me the font you used? it's a very nice and simple font - i like it.

Thomas said on Mar. 08 '07

Hello arneak, the font used is a custom made from Helvetica Neue 63 medium extended. Only the "s" is a original one. All others are totally rebuilt ("e" from "s"...).

ryantoyota said on Mar. 08 '07

Nice. Apparently I was way off on the "slightly modified font" comment. I love logos that use a modified or custom font, as it makes them that much more unique.

I don't think you need to address the kerning. The "Q" is bothering me. I feel like I don't know why it looks the way it does. What's the significance of taking out that chunk? Because... when I look at your logo I look at the missing chunk, not the composition as a whole.

ryantoyota said on Mar. 14 '07

The significance of taking out the chunk is that it makes it unique. Look at Microsoft's logo. The chunk out of the O makes it unique, and not something one could achieve by simply typing out the name.

Thomas said on Mar. 14 '07

Thanks "Ryan". That was my goal, make it simple but, without pretention, unique. I've tryed a lot of things, lot of chunks but this one seems to work well. The real question for me was to know if the "queue" of the Q (sorry, I'm french and I need to improve my english so please teach me :-) have the good angle regarding to the chunk (a new word for me, thanks!)

very nice.. but the spaces between the letters are too narrow

alexwende said on Jun. 10 '08

nice, I agree it is a little bit tight in the other hand I think it makes this one more interesting/more recognizable.

this is absolutely fantastic... in my opinion you have the most underrated showcase on logopond... the choice in fonts paired with some exceptional marks, in my opinion, puts you up there with the best on the pond!..

I meant every word of that^^^... I strongly believe you deserve more attention...
