sisudesigns said:I really would have liked to seen that A lower case in there with a blue treatment but I get why you did it.. Periodic table of elements style.... I guess if I was going to do that I'd take it the next step though. Personally I'd rather you just play with the typography. I really love the placement of that blue dot. I just wish it was incorporated into the type somehow.

senterbrands said:what if you did the dot in the i blue? Other than that i realy like this design.

OcularInk said:I too would like to see the blue color working with the type. Even so, nice job.

chrisrushing said:very cool, but how is it going to work on a business card at 1/2 or 1/4 of an inch tall.

pritchett.nick said:i think it would look fine. now-a-days, i think, if your printer can't get that detail onto your card then i'd say they aren't a very good printer. i mean...think of size 12 font and how detailed that actually is.
p.s.
i like this by the way

marc said:I like just as it is. If I was being pernickety though, I'd say how about using some smaller dots in the bottom right-hand corner, to define the intersection of the curve and the descender in the 'a'.

b3nder said:Nice work. I wish i had designed it myself. I probably would have integrated the blue colour into the typeface to link the mark and the name.

Art Machine said:I love it and I think it's great as it is, an alternative type would be interesting but not necessary as the mark itself is very strong and speaks for itself.

logopwn said:Overall I don't have much concern about any part of it. I could live with the capital letters, but, like someone mentioned earlier, it would make more sense to strengthen the connection between the name and the 'a' above by making the dot on the letter 'i' blue. Good work!

uvendire said:What is the rationale?
"a" is the symbol of *anti*particle as being it's logo. Which is formed by "normal" particles except that blue one - so it becomes normal. Being "anti" should be the key.
or.. maybe all the black dots are antiparticles (as the type being in black too) but then what does that blue dot reflect? Decorative?

qmanning said:Nice. I agree with some of the comments above that it'd be nice to see the lowercase 'a' in the type treatment rather than the uppercase, and I think with that blue dot just floating in the form above, you need to bring that color into the type treatment somehow.

What came first the chicken or the egg?
The Antiparticle is still a much better execution and purpose for the mark.
The others are lacking reasoning for the deisgn.

emesghali said:i like it a lot, i think it would be cool if the anti was blue like the blue dot in the a. kind of like a link between the two.
regardless, excellent.

cray-z said:I don't think the t and the i in "anti" sit right. i think the "anti partial" that is the blue circle is just the same as all the other but with a different pair of shoes. probably not like your bother now anyway in hearing crit. but i think you could rework it to make it better than just good.

abeall said:Just another comment, I really like how you varied the sizes of the particles in just a subtle way to add depth, not just random variations.

firestorm888 said:Sorry Stereodeluxe - not judgemental here at all - but this and clashmore's Take Zero are both derivative of the Unilever logo - Unilever logo explainer page is here, btw
Whether you did it intentionally or whether it was in your subconcious - it's a match. Just sayin'! Your blue particle is a nice touch, tho.
Frankly, I'm suprised that no one has brough this up, before.

james said:I agree I've seen this style done multiple times before...not just the unilever logo. I wouldn't say that they are a match though as the end result is completely different...even if based on the same concept intentional or not, inspiration form other logos/design is no bad thing.
Nice work btw.

MondoMan said:I really like where this is headed. If I had one critic it would be that this logo my not be as effective at a small size. I might try to reduce the number of "particles" to simplify things a bit. It would still have the effect and would help on the overall application of the logo at different sizes.

gthobbs said:I know this is a little out of date in response but it echos comments I see on a lot of logos. Here, particularly, feeling that blue must be brought into the type is a very amateur reaction. Let a single focal point work for you. Sometimes 2 scoops of raisins is one too many.
