Fabulous concept - For RED change city to town and I actually think the paint drip over the T in PAINT could end in a drop shape. Also watch the thickness of the white line it must match in weight all the way around the can. I'll float the one with the most floats. Nice job!

thanks muse7, it's always nice to read your comments, you give great feedback.**made the white line the same weight :)**i'm not sure what you mean about changing city to town... I guess it could work both ways but not sure what you meant :P

You should make the red paint drip down instead of being so square. Might not look like a city though. Who knows, give it a try.

This would look SICK without the white outline and white line can holder, just red color and curved text...

Maybe, half city/half drip. Like a drip city. Just a suggestion. It's been fun watching this design evolve. Good job.

This would look trick if you made the handle like a rainbow with different dripping colors :) ha ha just kidding. I think you have lots to think about now :) we all love it regardless.

Fabulous, ok let me clarify, my 1st suggestion was to change the word city to the word town. My other suggestion was to make one drip on the can. So take the 2nd to last red dip in the building at the very end over the N in PAINT and bring that red line down ending in a drip shape (add a circle end cap) over the word PAINT, not interfering with it just above. This would do two things, solidify the concept for those people who aren't as visual as we are and connect the type to the image. Also the reason for the word change is the phase is known as %22Paint the TOWN red%22

Im thinking you need to tone it down a bit. I would suggest getting rid of the black BG and concentrating on a black foreground against white. I would also suggest not having such a uniformed stroke. Try and loosen the outline up a bit, make it look a bit more hand drawn, think about light and shading. I would also add a detail ( slight curved line) under the open top, to give it a more three dimensional quality. And the 'y' at the end of the type is looking a bit off. Sorry for bangin' on a bit ... enjoying seeing this develop : )))**Oh aye and 'Paint the town red' like muse7 says, makes more sense : ) ... http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/paint_the_town_red?rdfrom%3DPaint_the_town_red
