not to mention if you print black and white, the red and grey come out the same tone. they are equal or at least very close in hue.

Bazizi means very close in value, not hue. I like the concept, but would suggest a lighter background color. Have you tried it with the two grays reversed?

I like the strong imagery - and the colors. It's one of those designs that encourages the viewer to request more information - giving you, as a designer, the opportunity to promote yourself even more.
