the combination of the "E" and "D" as a plug has already been used severals time around there in some really good logos and yet this one remains original, like a spin off or something.Good.

Please tell me you haven't seen Ed's Electric or this logo before you designed this one. Coming up with this concept on one's own is very cool. But improving the existing one is not.
