Description: New logotype (first cut) for musican Talvin Singh. My research was mostly listening to the guy\\\'s music (old and new). Played it over and over again and tried to visualise the layering. I found the music to be Indo-European, royal in the mughal sense and visualy festive. As you might have noticed I have tried to show all of this in one single piece. Talvin’s music has a massive feeling of nature or being natural, which is also something I have tried to portray. From our country\\\'s symbolic Ashoka Chakra to the mango prints found on saris to ancient Indian castles to elephants, peacocks to even the ‘dhanush’ (bow). The logo is full!, with its thick/solid futuristic European font which brings out the electronic music involved in not just the new album (not yet released) but others as well. OMG! and I wasn’t even tripping!
