1. I would go further to the core of this concept by simplifying the eyeglass (removing the light lens and maybe even that dark "reflection") and turning it to make the tie point straight down. But, to be honest, I really don't know, whether it's a good idea :).
2. Nice mark/concept. Really nice mark/concept.
3. The colour combination is really subtle. I like it.
4. I don't like the "J". It attracts attention away from the lens. I would try a different font.
