gyui said:wow, awesome job! keep the font, helps with consistency of the mark. you know if you turned it on it's side, it would look like an airplane window, but then again, you may not see the c and d. fav'd and floated!

Houston-we said:Mike this is great! FP material, but I guess it won't be added to the frontpage, because if that happens, your whole showcase should be added there too haha. But that's the price when you're too good )))

lboi said::-) Ok I meant change the type .. not make it elegant, I was actually leaning towards something stronger, considering the C & D of the mark are really strong :-)

davidairey said:And I definitely agree about the bold type. It's needed to complement the mark.

raja said:Hey lun - it's not very typical - watch your words. Mike is a friend with whom I collaborate with.
Mike that's fine.

lundeja said:@raja I would say that since you seem to bring it up about 1000 times more than any other designer on here or anywhere, it is typical, yes. I recall a whole forum post devoted to this, several comments, etc.
Nothing against you, to each his own. I just think you should respect a good design regardless of whether or not it's in use. True, there was no brief for this, but why should that matter? If I or anyone else has an idea for a logo/brand off the top of their head, why not draw it out? What is one losing by doing so? Do you not enjoy your line of work?

Houston-we said:I think good design should not depend on whether you have a client or not. If everyone created logos just for clients, there soon wouldn't be any pleasure in it, as the process of creating something new/what you came up with is what interests us. Sorry for bad eng.

logo designer gold coast said:Uh oh... I think I'm the only one who thinks this logo is a bit 'done to death'. I believe in keeping things simple and using cliches but making them better but this one is quite common...

lundeja said:@raja wasn't being bitter, like I said, to each his own. I'm a fan of your work, I just thought your comment came off with a little condescension. Also, yes, I am enjoying life quite a bit :)

daiver said:To be honest, I think this is the best logo on the front page today. Someone said it had already been done to death but I disagree. It has been done, but not to death and I haven't seen one that is so balanced as this one. Congrats OP!

Houston-we said:Seriously, what are you talking about guys? I mean, I really haven't seen a logo that has 'C' and 'D' and a plane in the negative space before, nor I found it on google. Are you saying that using negative space in a logo has been done to death? :-o
