- New Voices for the Theater
- by lewiscot
- New Voices for the Theater is a program for junior and high school student actors, directors and playwrites. The theater (now defunct) wanted a logo that was more playful and would appeal to teeanagers.

I do want to note that the logo is terrific though. The simplicity, but attention to detail are excellent. Definitely something that is missing most of the time.
Awesome!

it's very playful, and cheap for printing. it's a one color boom!!
you graphic designer wannabees take note, and design for your target.

It would require a bit of work, but if perhaps you could induce a more aggressive perspective on him and twist him twoards the viewer, i feel that it would solve some of the weighting issues and make a more interresting, stable and dynamic design.
The cone would open up, which would knock out some of the black. and the direction would help keep the eye on the center of the logo (where it should be).
There are some great forced perspective designs on iso50.com particularly the 2nd flood light logo as well as the man swinging the hammer.
Check it out, you have a good design just keep working at it a little and i think youll have a great design.
