I love the idea of crayons outside the box, but how well do the scribbles reproduce in print or when scaled down? Is there an alternate version with solid scribbling? I imagine those little breaks (which really identify the marks as being from a crayon) would cause some problems.

Volfro, That is a valid concern. I always try reproducing a logo design in a variety of sizes and reproduction qualities. I use a fax as the ultimate test. The logo must retain its integrity when faxed at about stationery size. The logo is much smaller on our business cards and they turned out great. The breaks in the scribbles are still visible at about 1/2 inch in height. Scott

Sweet. Goes to show you that a log doesn't have to be made up of solids to be reproducible. My only other critique (then I'll stop, promise) is the fact that part of the B is knocked out, but there's no matching missing parts in the "Crayon". It looks a bit on the unbalanced side as a result, in my opinion, but it's still a great logo. Excellent work (especially that dot on the I being silhouetted and scribbled! I love that).

Volfro, No worries on the critique, it's all helpful. Regarding the B, that is the number one criticism I get. I agree that it would be more balanced but the C doesn't lend itself to being knocked out. I was on the fence about it but decided to go ahead with the knockout anyway. thanks for the feedback.
