It contrasts a bit from the bird illustration, but to me, it flows well as a whole. The font actually makes me think of a birdhouse with it's rigid, squared off serifs. I really like the 'r' and the two 'c's.

I hate to say it, since the design is so nice, but I would criticize this because it does not reflect the business. With the bird house would be improvement.
I have one thought for this excellent bird to be peeking from bird house and name of company to be in balloon from mouth. Lot of ideas like that. Then present compact design used for secondary page, etc.
