OcularInk said:Honestly, I'm getting pretty tired seeing logos with parts of the letterforms replaced with squares and/or circles. To me, this isn't a concept, it's merely a style. I don't even get it. And for a D.J., I would think circles would be more appropriate relating back to the shape of a record or CD. The kerning isn't working for me either. I hope I don't sound too harsh.

OcularInk said:Good point about the "bright strobe lights of various colors". I can see that. The logo does work in this particular case, but sometimes I like to push other designers outside of the box with my comments. It's very easy as a logo designer to apply a certain style to a logo because it works for that type of business. I've done it myself. :^) Also, my comment was not a direct reference to the logos on LogoPond. This isn't the only website I use for Logo and Identity inspiration. There are books, websites, magazines, etc. for viewing logos. I should have said, this isn't a very interesting design to me, it's a style that I've been noticing more and more. Who am I to say what's right and wrong? I've only been a logo designer for about 2 years now. I have so much to learn. The logo looks good to me, I just would have taken another approach.

But great work.
oh you could maybe try to make the D like the C so it would look like a butterfly or something
