I like what you've done here. The worn look is working I think and for a first attempt - good job. I would make sure the logo can stand on it's own without the grunge. In other words make sure the foundation of your logo is solid so that it doesn't become dependent on it's stylization(grunge/worn look). Also the typeface seems a bit on the Art Deco side to me...I may just have to look at it more and get used to it. Love the star...nothing says "rebel" like a red star. Good job!

I like the art direction. I dont like the shading behind that logo. I dont like the placement of the star and the type in its contained box. And I really think you need to simplify it into a vector look before you beat it up. So take the type, take the star and go back and vectorize it and work on the placement and dont bring it into photoshop until its vectored in black and white. Also watchout for how you treat that star and how heineken treats their star. Joseph

The logo looks good. But i agree with Sisudesigns. it does remind me of the beer star. u got the right concept, but it needs a lil work to pull it together. the worn label i like, but u can work a lil more on the type & star treatment.

The star is certainly reminiscent of Heineken (especially considering both are beverages), but I think there's enough additional design here to set the logo apart. Besides, Heineken doesn't own the star shape to such an extent that there isn't room for another company using it. I too would play around with other fonts. The one you're using does have an art deco feel as jwadenpfuhl comments, but I think what you're gravitating towards is the stenciled look to reinforce the "rebel" connotations. As as others have noted, it's always wise to ensure the logo works in a more vectorized fashion to sidestep resolution issues in the future, but I think you're off to a great start.

i think the problem of this logo goes back to the name!!! REBEL TEA, is it a punishment to those who like tea. i love tea, tea is a luxury hot beverage above coffee and hot chocolate in all over the world. it's about sensitivity, richness, and pleasure... i would never buy this tea because it makes me feel it tastes awful.
