This logo gives me a weird vibe. To me, your mark looks like spirits or ghosts. Gives off a negative conotation if you ask me...its as if the youth are going to die if they get on the sail boat. ;) Don't get me wrong, I like the layout and the overall logo, just not sure if its working very well for this business group. Maybe if you had continued the pattern of figures to complete a circular like shape, it wouldn't look so much like ghosts or spirits. I think it has something to do with the overall direction of the figures pointing upwards. Just some thoughts. Overall, I think you created a nice looking logo. Kevin

I get an Olympic logo feel from this more than Ocularink's ghost/spirit vibe, but I can see his point. Maybe one thing to try is making each colored person touch one another. That might help reinforce the sail shape and therefore minimize any other connotations. Also, perhaps the company and city name could be worked out to feel more representative of a ship- not overly literal, but enough to again reinforce the sailing theme?

where's the leg? it's not your fault on this one. the name is ALL wrong. you did o.k. but the naming of the group is the problem. OR, you need a logo for the shake a leg organization and a seperate logo for the sailing project. Right now, i don't think it works.

I agree it did remind me of the Olympics (Nagano 1998 Winter Olympics logo :P) I like it and I would say this represents more sort of hope, wings, relationships more than ghosts or something like that. the colours are bright and take away from any sort of relation to a ghost in my opinion. Now im hearing sail boats and legs... i agree the name and subject dont match, but yeah, if ur aiming for sails, i like it. Maybe angle them up a bit more (counter clockwise)

I expected this to be a dance company or track team or something along those lines. Shake A Leg just doesn't make any sense here. I agree with heavywinter, maybe if the type could be more expressive of a boat feeling it might help. I did associate the shape of the figures with a sail though.
