the wings are gorgeous. I think the typeface is too harsh for the wings and doesn't really do justice to how beautiful the wings are. I would try something a little thinner and with serifs.

well said jwadenpfuhl. wings are really cool, type is too strong. a different typeface would probably be good, something a little more delicate like the wings. a lighter color perhaps too.

I agree, the wings look fantastic. I see what you were trying to accomplish with the type though -- it looks rather soft-focus and that is a good idea. But I also agree that a nice serif face would look better. Overall though, I love the logo.
