It seems that design chapel is a pirate himself.( He is a great designer though )
just look at history ( around the same time pirates were going around ) its called Russian Heraldry.
And been originally designed around the 1343, correct if I'm wrong, but thats not the issue!

At first I thought it was a rip-off too but that Russian Heraldry example is bang on. I guess there truly is nothing new under the sun. That type face is pretty damn cool.
