Don't mind critiques, but I'm not actively looking for them

- This is a logo I'm designing for a small side project I'm working on. It is representative of the swiss style I find so much inspiration in, and is also very graphic. Essentially, it is an embodiment of my process of design. The typography is based upon Fonce Sans Pro (a typeface of my own design currently selling on Myfonts.com).

I read in the paper the other day that the Swiss government wanted crack down on non Swiss products having the Swiss flag on it.

i agree, swiss, vignelli, rand.
which brings me to the point. Id like to see this problem solved in a very applicable 2 dimensional solution. I find that a lot of stuff on logopond is being adulterated with gradients and gel effects.
just for kicks how about you drop the 3d (including the background lighting effect) then stack the Fonce on top of the foundry in a grid style to the right, scaling the sheild where appropreate.
Just using my imagination, i can forsee some legibility problems, maybe able to overcome with weighting differnces, but worth a shot.
(ps, the swiss cross, best design ever. hard not to want it for your own. that and the moen faucet logo)
keep up the good work.
