Very nice, can we see it w/o the grunge texture?

mebs said on Nov. 20 '06

very cool! i like the grunge texture here. is there a version with some text?

liquisoft said on Nov. 20 '06

That grunge is going to get lost on smaller-scale versions of the design. Either bump up its visibility or lose it entirely.

I feel it would gain more impact if you lose the texture.

I love the logo, but definetly don't agree with the "cause"

Beautiful, I think the grunge is appropriate (deterioration of the ozone layer etc.) and a nice change from the shiny reflections all too comon nowadays.

nice idea.... i think the flames need some work... a bit more harmonic. i think the logo has a problem in small sizes (grungy style) but on the other hand this style supports the message of the logo very well.

here it is in the final form. the client decided to combine my mark with another designers type. what do you guys think of it? http://heatison.org/

I usually agree with all the grunge comments and the fact that it may loose its character when small, but since the logo was only going to live on the web, some of the usual logo rules and considerations could be overlooked.

the reason for the grunge was to go along with the hot and burning idea. In its final form (link above) it looks like its hot and smoldering.

I like your logo, but don't like it how it appears on the website combing your design with someone else's. But what can you do hey? Siiigh. Ha.
