I really like this ... i'm not to keen about the black, not a very welcoming color for this, but overall nice job!
ReplyThanks gyui! Any thoughts on what color to replace the black? I don't know how i even came up with these colors (did the logo a while back), so I'd be open to some color suggestions.
Replyi was thinking warm colors, colors of vegetables, fruit, because i think one aspect that people love about farmer's markets is seeing fresh, vibrant colored vegetables and fruit. especially if it is in downtown.%0D*%0D*which city is the skyline?
Replyi feel the white would look great, have you tried a reverse one?
Reply@gyui - I'll have to play with those colors. Thanks for the suggestions. That skyline is Des Moines, the famous vacation hotspot! :-)**@penflare - I haven't tried to reverse it. so where it is black, make it white? On a colored background? I'll try any suggestions. Thanks!
ReplyVery Nice Don't Change anything.
Replygreat logos
ReplyI agree--try something less heavy than black. I have some color index books if you want to see some diff. palette options. You should pitch this logo to the farmer's market folks!
ReplyDOPE!
ReplyI, too, like it as-is.**If I *had* to change something, I'd maybe try cutting the base of the barn flat so it also had the same 'looking up' perspective as the sky line.
Replyexcept the choise of colors, wonderful nostalgical work!
Reply'Downtown' can make you think of something a little more intense. Other than that old song, when you think of downtown, you kinda' don't think of farmers, butterflies, daisies, etc. **Having said that, I like the dark colors. That black represents the angst, energy, grit and spirit of the urban metropolis. The red %26 gold are autumn, maize, maize, apples, squash...**maybe I'm reading too much into it. I like the dark colors. Black for the metropolis and red/gold for the heartland... lets leave it at that.
ReplyI just recognized my hometown skyline! Nice!
Reply@hunterlane,*Are you a fellow Des Moinesian??
ReplyExcellent- I love how the barn represents %22a farm in your town%22 via the farmer's market.
ReplyAlways did like this one. Sweet work!
Replygreat style...it looks very %22american%22....like it
