Don't mind critiques, but I'm not actively looking for them

- My own studio's logo includes the name and an abstract shape. This might remind people of some wings carrying and protecting an idea symbolised by the star in the center. The organic shape of both the shield-like container and the wings give the logo a smooth yet strong feeling. The colours are classical and yet energetic at the same time, representing reliability and innovation at the same time.

nbraxton said:Very lovely wing forms, beautiful negative space created. But the border is so very bold and distracting. It really detracts from the great mark. It's also cramping the top of the mark. I'd recommend giving it a bit more breathing room.

What do you think?

i DO see quite a resemblance between it and the idiocase logo.

liquisoft said:I see a lot of these wing creations all over the place, and they've become uninspired and cliche, for me. Not that this is a bad logo or bad work; not by any means am I suggesting it. I am merely stating that, to me, this doesn't seem very original. I've seen it before and I'm sure I'll see it again and again...and again.

I call "BS", I don't think these guys know a good design when they see one anymore. Personally, I think the logo is fantastic. The colors and the design are great, and I have no complaints. To the guy who called your "winged" design uninspired and cliche; I think he's waiting for the next popular convention in design to appear so he can rip it off before it gets overused.

From my part, I entered to see your logo in full because it caught my eye, the colors are great. In my opinion, I'd lose the constraining box, the wings just beg to be free! Besides, it'll help the logo be more flexible and move the mark around or even separate it from the type in some applications. Cool work.

if i hadn't read the description i would have thought it's a army logo.
color don't help, it's still a military badge.

cobaltcow said:the thing i love most about this logo is the 'punched' box around the outside. Very classy, sharp, but smooth.
I think I have to agree on the green being a bit light though - esp. on white. It just gets a bit lost.
