Interesting concept. I think the forms could be improved slightly. I like how it's beginning to evoke the world, but I feel it can be pushed a little further. Even so, I love the idea.

I really like the idea behind this. The only issue is that it doesn't scale down very well. At small sizes, you lose the details that make the arrows visible. At that point, it essentially becomes a fuzzy map of the world.

Perhaps beef up the arrows a bit more and add more room around them. I realize it might be difficult, as the arrows need to also represent the shapes of countries. Still, it's worth a shot.

I think it looks pretty nice and the idea is cool just the only thing I could think of is that the negative space in-between the Americas and the Europe Africa landmass could be better used. Maybe to have another arrow shape.
