Actually, I\'m more drawn to the one that was chosen. This one feels a little outdated to me. I\'m not sure what it is, but something doesn\'t seem right. Maybe it\'s the choice of colors. I also like your use of gestalt on the other one better. It\'s more captivating. One thing I do like about this is how heavy it feels, which on the other hand, might make more sense for a construction company. -Kevin

Hi Kevin Thanks for your comments. I was after the look you describe, and I wanted it to look heavy, like a block of concrete.

Well, I know that I don't like the one they chose. This version is more creative. The other makes me think of some generic e-commerce aesthetic. I'll agree with OcularInk, though, the Gestalt was pleasant. I think with a little more work it would be great for a construction company.
