I like the idea of the folded map, just wondering how easily visible it is to see that the plane is a map.

I agree with gyui. The concept is nice, just needs a little more work on the execution. Perhaps, try a more simplified approach of a map. Also, the mark needs more contrast. Coming along nicely though.
