Hello OC, let me throw some ideas then...
1) I think there are 2 many stars?
2) umbrella could be like 20% downsized?
3) what if you make the holder of umbrella (stick) of the letter L from the word and leave some space between the holder and the cover?

OC, this is nice.... bla bla bla, every time i look at it, i see the mortan salt girl logo. i know this looks no where near it. but. everytime i look at it, thats what i see. nanny lady never had anything coming down from the umbrella, just a big skirt. ant way to make a skirt and unbrella at the same time?

At first glance, I thought the umbrella was tied into the word. Maybe a slightly larger 'a'?
