Its a blobby handwritten letter form, in which the 'p' and 'a' are the only two common letters and the 'a' doesn't even resemble the 'a' in mapquest. The size of the two words and color pallet also are substantially different, to me this doesn't have much resemblance to mapquest.
Can't put my figure quite on it...however, I really like something about this logo. Perhaps because it reminds me of something from the Jetson's cartoon.
